Singer Moshe Hillel, known as 'The Singing Paratrooper,' has died at 81. Hillel rose to fame with the song 'The Boy with the Banjo,' which topped the Israeli music charts. Following his success, he was invited in 1971 to perform at the Mizrahi Music Festival, where he sang 'Jacob the Innocent,' better known as 'Fear Not, Israel,' and came in third place. He participated in the competition several times thereafter. In 1972, he came in second place with the song 'Beauty Is Not in Vain.' A year later, he appeared in the film 'Kazablan,' in which he played a mohel at a circumcision ceremony and performed a verse in the song 'We Are All Jews.'
