The IDF spokesperson announced that Alexandroni Brigade fighters completed an operation overnight to arrest Hamas terrorists operating in the Beit Jann area in southern Syria. The operation was conducted following intelligence gathered in recent weeks against the terrorists who were attempting to advance numerous terror plots against Israel and IDF forces. The terrorists were transferred to Israeli territory for further investigation by Unit 504. SyriaTv reported that "about 100 soldiers entered the area in 10 military vehicles, and drones flew over the area during the activity." Earlier it was reported that one young man was killed during the operation.
