Democrats party leader Yair Golan filed a defamation and incitement to violence lawsuit against Sara Netanyahu at the Central District Court in Lod, following an interview on Channel 14 in which she implied that Golan had prior knowledge of the October 7 massacre. Golan filed a lawsuit for 2,550,000 shekels. According to the lawsuit, following the interview, concrete warnings were received from intelligence sources about intentions to harm Golan, alongside a report indicating a 450% surge in incitement against him online. The lawsuit further states that the level of threats forced a significant expansion and deepening of security arrangements around him privately ahead of the elections.
