In order to expedite and ensure the release of hostages, the IDF will first withdraw to the initial withdrawal line within the next day, not just from Gaza City. This involves a major withdrawal of hundreds of fighters, tanks, Humvees, equipment and infrastructure, which will be completed tomorrow in a way that will allow Hamas to regain control of most urban areas in the Gaza Strip. By tomorrow, the IDF will also withdraw from most sections of the Morg and Netzarim corridors that were breached during Operation "Gideon's Chariots A" in central and southern Gaza, Morg and Maoz-Oz. A special IDF force will receive the hostages in Gaza territory from the Red Cross, as in the two previous phases, and from there they will be transferred to reception centers at the border near Camp Reim.
