Police yesterday arrested Israel Nemdar, suspected of rolling a burning garbage bin that seriously injured a woman on Yehezkel Street in Jerusalem in 2022. The court extended his detention by five days. Nemdar had been on the run for two and a half years, and according to police, managed to evade arrest several times, partly due to various ultra-Orthodox communities helping to conceal him.
