U.S. President Donald Trump was asked about the Israeli elections in response to claims that 'the polls showed Netanyahu lost,' and replied that 'the endorsement helped him a lot.' Trump told reporters at Andrews Air Force Base: 'When the endorsement was published, it helped him a lot. But actually I heard he did pretty well. He's probably winning or in a tie. We'll see what happens.' On his Truth Social platform, he posted a quote: 'When Trump endorsed Bibi Netanyahu, the whole trend reversed. Now, instead of a crushing defeat, it seems to be a close race that turned around at the last moment – and maybe even a Netanyahu victory. All this happened after President Trump expressed his support for Netanyahu.'
