The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that "radiation levels in the Persian Gulf region have remained normal following the end of the '12-Day War,' during which significant damage was caused to Iran's nuclear facilities." The agency emphasized the need for its inspectors to enter Iran to continue monitoring Iranian nuclear activities "in accordance with the agreement between Tehran and the IAEA." Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on his X account that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi's "insistence" on accessing nuclear facilities is "meaningless," adding: "The Iranian parliament has decided to stop cooperation with the agency."
