Eyal Eshel, father of lookout Roni Eshel who was murdered on October 7, raised his daughter's burnt beret during a statement at the October Council. Eshel said: "Today I am taking Roni's beret back home, but not Roni. Only the beret, the last remnant of a life cut short. Almost three years after the massacre, the prime minister and the former Shin Bet chief are confronting each other over the question of who knew, who warned and who is responsible, and we, the bereaved families, are still searching for the truth about the day we lost our loved ones."
