The White House has established a task force to examine the risks and opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence and recommend what the role of the federal government should be in overseeing the technology, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. The team, dubbed the "Super Intelligence Force," will be headed by Jay Clayton, who leads the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and according to a senior White House official will effectively serve as President Donald Trump's "AI czar." The team is expected to submit its report within 120 days.
