A mobility scooter driver who was struck by a vehicle on Route 57 near Sharon Junction has died. He was evacuated to Laniado Hospital in Netanya in serious condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The female driver of the vehicle was evacuated with minor injuries. Police reported that traffic investigators have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
