The Health Ministry reported that a mixed-breed, medium-sized dog, light brown in color, was found infected with rabies at Kibbutz Ma'agan Michael in the Hof Carmel Regional Council. Thirteen people who were exposed to the infected dog were referred for preventive treatment against rabies. Anyone who had contact, or whose animals had contact, with the infected animal between October 11 and October 26, inclusive, is urgently requested to contact the Hadera Health Bureau at 04-6240804, or the health bureau nearest to their place of residence to consider receiving preventive treatment.
