Several coalition members criticized the security cabinet's decision to allow humanitarian aid. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir wrote: 'Mr. Prime Minister, our hostages have no humanitarian aid'; Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu also wrote on X: 'This is our tragedy with Netanyahu's approach. A leader who could have led to a clear victory, remembered as one who defeated radical Islam, but time after time lets this historic opportunity slip through his fingers.' Likud MK Avichai Boaron added: 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We must not provide humanitarian aid to the enemy, we must not hesitate.'
