Religious Zionism party leader Bezalel Smotrich announced his decision to remove MK Moshe Solomon from all Knesset committees in which he serves on behalf of the faction, after he voted against the Torah study Basic Law that passed in a preliminary reading, contrary to the party's decision. The statement said that 'MK Solomon was aware of and involved in the entire process and at no stage raised any objection or intention to vote against. Despite this, he chose to act on his own, surprised all faction members and severely damaged their trust in him.'
