Mother of hostage Nimrod Cohen: 'The state recruits soldiers but leaves them behind'

|
Vicki Cohen, mother of captured soldier Nimrod Cohen, said at the 'Watch 101' protest in front of the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv that 'Nimrod enlisted out of a mission to protect the state and its citizens, and today he is abandoned in captivity. The state recruits soldiers but has left soldiers behind in captivity, and we must not accept this.' Cohen added: 'We are at the U.S. Embassy with a plea and cry that the Trump administration will do everything to pressure the government to sign a deal that will bring everyone home in one go.'
