One Zero Bank is embarking on another round of streamlining, in which it will lay off approximately 25 employees, representing about 7% of the bank's 350 employees. At the same time, the bank will forgo hiring employees for 10 additional positions, so that the workforce will be approximately 10% lower than planned. The move comes as the bank expands its use of automation and artificial intelligence tools, while also showing growth in activity and improvement in financial results. This morning, summonses were sent to employees from whom the bank will part ways. In a letter sent to employees, One Zero CEO Eyal Gafni wrote that "this is a difficult decision. These are employees who built ONE ZERO together with us, invested in it and were a significant part of the journey we took and our successes."
