Additionally, the Qataris did not push for Israel's dismissal from UEFA, as their main influence is with FIFA, which recently opened its new headquarters in New York and is aware of the good relations between the U.S. and Israel. From FIFA's perspective, the issue of excluding the Israeli national team has not even been raised for discussion.
