The death toll has risen to 10 among Buddhist monks who were killed when a pickup truck driven by an 11-year-old boy plowed into them in northeastern Thailand. According to local officials, the truck hit 35 Buddhist monks during a pilgrimage route in Mukdahan Province, about 600 kilometers northeast of the capital Bangkok. According to the provincial administration, 10 additional injured were hospitalized, and one remains in critical condition. The boy was arrested, and his parents could face negligence charges.
