Israeli basketball player Deni Avdija scored 35 points in his team Portland Trail Blazers' 122-116 loss to the Detroit Pistons. With this performance, Avdija surpassed Omri Casspi to become the Israeli record holder for most points scored in an NBA game. Avdija played 38 minutes and in addition to his points, he also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out seven assists.
