Health Minister Yuli Edelstein reported that 1,090,000 Israelis have been inoculated against the coronavirus since the beginning of Israel's vaccination campaign.
"This is an extraordinary achievement thanks to our medical staffs. Thanks to you, we are first in the world in number of vaccinators," wrote Edelstein on his Twitter page.
