Health Ministry reports 1,642 new coronavirus cases

The Health Ministry reported Friday that 1,642 new coronavirus cases have been diagnosed since midnight, and that the positivity rate currently stands at 4.1%.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 3,057.
Out of the 717 coronavirus patients who are currently hospitalized, 429 are in serious condition, with 105 connected to ventilators.
