Ben Gurion International Airport authorities said Monday that they were expecting 7,700 to pass through the airport on Tuesday, Israel's Election Day.
According to the officials, 5,100 Israelis were expected to depart Israel and 2,600 were expected to arrive.
For the first time since Israel's independence, four polling stations will be opened in the airport with a special station made available for in the arrivals hall before passport control, in order to allow passengers to vote before they enter the country and are required to quarantine.
