Shas leader Aryeh Deri said that his party will recommend Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister, and called on Naftali Bennett's Yamina and Gideon Saar's New Hope to do the same.
"Shas will work to form a right-wing government led by Netanyahu that will preserve the Jewish identity of the state and work for the benefit of the state's weaker sectors," said Deri in a statement. "Shas calls on all right-wing parties, especially Yamina and New Hope, to transcend all other considerations and join a full right-wing government."
