Abdullah to Abbas: Jordan supports Palestinian bid for state

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday received a call of support from Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Abdullah said that Jordan stands beside the Palestinian people in the face of all challenges on the path to self-determination and a sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Abbas expressed his gratitude to Abdullah II for his support, Wafa said.
