The Israeli Defense Ministry has reached an agreement with Greek Defense Ministry to lease Israeli Heron drones created by the Israeli Aerospace Industry.
The drones will be leased to Greece for three years, with the option to purchase the system at the end of the period.
The Israeli made system will help protect Greece's borders by initiating in maritime patrol, marine and land border protection, illegal transit of goods and people, search and rescue, and natural disaster management.
