Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi toured Bnei Brak on Sunday, to visit troops assigned to the city who were distributing food to residents of the partially locked-down predominately ultra-Orthodox city.
Kochavi said his troops' efforts lends new meaning to the phrase the army of the people and that he expects more assistance by the military will be provided to local government in areas in need.
