Prime minister designate Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, condemned rioting by ultra-Orthodox residents of Jerusalem which caused severe injury to a by passer.
The Haredi men rioted in the capital for the past two nights, throwing objects at a city bus and throwing barrels down the road, one of which hit a woman and wounded her.
"I call on the police to apprehend and prosecute those responsible to the farthest extent of the law," Netanyahu said.
The Likud leader is in the midst of coalition negotiations with ultra-Orthodox as well as right-wing religious nationalists to form his new government.
