Any plan that will not include post-Hamas Gaza as part of a Palestinian state is "doomed to fail," a spokesperson for Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas said on Friday.
"Gaza will be part of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,” Palestinian Information Minister Nabil Abu Rudeineh said in response to a plan presented by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to his ministers for governance in Gaza after the downfall of Hamas.
“Any plan other than this is doomed to fail. Israel will not succeed in changing the geographic and demographic reality in the Strip." (Einav Halabi)
