Israeli athletes secured three medals at the European Road Running Championships on Sunday, with the men’s marathon team winning gold and two individual runners earning silver and bronze.
Gashau Ayele claimed the silver medal in the individual men’s marathon, while teammates Maru Teferi and Lonah Chemtai Salpeter took bronze. The Israeli men’s team also triumphed in the team marathon event, marking a standout performance at the championships held in Belgium.
