Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Thursday that in recent years the Palestinian Islamic Jihad received "tens of millions of dollars" from Iran's Revolutionary Guard.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Cypriot Defense Minister Charalambos Petrides, Gantz added that during Israel's recent campaign against the Islamic Jihad in Gaza, the terror group fired "over a thousand rockets at Israeli population centers where kindergartens, schools and many civilians are."
"The ayatollah regime in Iran was also involved in this. Israel will continue to act against Iran's proxies together with our partners."
