A Jordanian court sentenced on Monday Khaled Abu-Ria to eight years in prison for planning a terrorist attack against the Israeli embassy in Amman in 2018.
According to his conviction, Abu-Ria planned to open fire on the embassy complex with the aim of killing Israelis.
He planned to carry out the attack in response to the transfer of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem in May 2018, and to the demonstrators who died in the Return Marches on the Gaza Strip border.
