Blue & White Chairman Benny Gantz announced on Thursday that his fellow party member MK Yizhar Shai will be appointed minister of science and technology.
Prior to entering politics, Shai served as CEO at several high-tech companies and venture capital funds.
Shai also ran projects aiming to reduce social gaps and promote the country's geographical and social peripheries.
