Israeli Air Force reservists publish protest letter calling to stop war

A protest letter signed by about 1,000 Israeli Air Force reservists - including pilots - was published as an advertisement in media outlets across the country. In the letter, they wrote that "at this time the war serves political and personal interests” rather than national security. They wrote that the "continuation of the war doesn’t advance any of the declared goals of the war, and will bring about the deaths of the hostages, of IDF soldiers and innocent civilians,” The letter was published after the fighters met with Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar and Chief of Staff Major General Eyal Zamir.
