Shin Bet breaks up terror cell planning attacks in Israel

Shin Bet broke up a terrorist cell in the West Bank aimed at executing attacks in Israel, directed by a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine activist from Lebanon.
The cell, made up of several West Bank Palestinians, was directed by Alam Kaabi, a Popular Front activist from Nablus. Kaabi was deported to Gaza as part of a deal to secure the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit from Hamas captivity.
Several of the Palestinian suspects were charged with intent to carry out terrorist attacks, and others were arrested on suspicion of promoting terrorist activities. (Yoav Zitun)
