Right-wing MKs boycotting a Judicial Selection Committee hearing

|
MK Osnat Mark, MK Zvi Hauser and Minister Miri Regev, all of which are right-wing representatives in the governemnt's Judicial Selection Committee, announced that they are boycotting the commeet's hearing that is currently taking place, in which about twenty new judges are to be elected.
Their absence from the committee is due to the fact that there is a majority in favor of advancing Jerusalem Magistrate's Judge Abbas Assi to the city district court, despite the right-wing members' claims that Abbas holds "anti zionist" views.
