Ashkenazi heads to Cairo for talks on ceasefire

Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi will travel to Cairo on Sunday for meeting with government officials.
The Foreign Ministry said the purpose of the trip was to strengthen Israeli-Egyptian ties and to discuss the ceasefire with Hamas.
This will be the first visit to Egypt by an Israeli Foreign Minister in 13 years.
Meanwhile Egypt's head of intelligence Abbas Kamel will travel to Israel and to the Palestinian Authorities for talks with officials, and will visit Gaza.
