Ashdod Oil Refinery, ICL Rotem, Oil Refineries Ltd., Shafdan (the Dan Region Wastewater Treatment Plant), Carmel Olefins, Dead Sea Works, the Tamar gas platform, Orot Rabin power station, Gadiv Petrochemical Industries and GES – all part of the Bazan Group – were ranked as the ten industrial sites with the greatest environmental impact in Israel. The data, released by the Environmental Protection Ministry, pertains to 2023 and was published several months behind schedule.
