LGBT reps to hold demonstration outside Tel Aviv police HQ on Wednesday

|
On Wednesday evening, the gay community's organizations are planning to hold a demonstration outside the police headquarters in southern Tel Aviv. This comes in response to the rising number of violent incidents against LGBT individuals and the perceived lack of action from the police. Additionally, the closure of a case involving rioters who threw stones at a home with a pride flag has further fueled the community's frustration. Ran Shalhabi, CEO of the Association for the LGBT community, has stated that the police have turned a blind eye to the community's safety on the streets, and that they will not allow the police to align with "the most homophobic government in the country's history".
