Erdan vs. Gantz: 'Unity? He Just Wanted Media Attention'

|
The Blue and White party announced that party leader Benny Gantz concluded after a meeting with HaIchud chair Gilad Erdan that they will not run together in the elections. In response, the HaIchud party stated that "Blue and White's briefings, the moment Erdan left the meeting with Gantz, teach us more than anything who truly wanted unity and who was only interested in getting media attention. We can only regret that Blue and White never tried to discuss substantive issues and did not agree to go all the way to unity in order to unite the bloc."
