Hostage survivor Romi Gonen published a post marking six months since her release from captivity, in which she wrote: "Six months since I got my life back. Six months and it's as if nothing has changed - there are still hostages in Gaza. How did I get out of there and they didn't?" She added: "All I wish for my new half-birthday is that all the hostages return - the living for rehabilitation and the deceased for proper burial. That all security forces can return to sleep in their beds at night. That the families of soldiers can sleep properly without the fear of receiving that knock on the door."
