U.S. President Donald Trump said he will sign an executive order tomorrow morning (Washington D.C. time) to reduce prescription drug prices by an amount he estimated between 30% and 80%. "Drug prices will be reduced almost immediately, and will rise worldwide for comparison," Trump claimed in a post on his social media platform Truth Social. "For the first time in many years, this will bring fairness to America! The U.S. will pay the same price as the country that pays the lowest price anywhere in the world."
