The Health Ministry updated on a person suspected of having Ebola, after returning from the Democratic Republic of Congo and developing a fever. The ministry emphasized that 'at this stage, this is only a suspicion. No confirmed case of Ebola has been diagnosed in Israel.' It was further reported that 'the person is being treated in isolation conditions in accordance with professional protocols established for dealing with highly contagious diseases, and has been transferred to Sheba Medical Center, which has been designated as one of the specialized centers for receiving such suspects.' In the past two months, it should be noted, two people were hospitalized with suspected Ebola, which was later ruled out.
