China breached email systems used by Congressional staff in important House of Representatives committees as part of a massive cyber espionage campaign called "Typhoon Salt," the British Financial Times reported citing sources familiar with the details. According to the report, China hacked into email systems used by several staff members of the House's China committee, as well as aides in the Foreign Affairs Committee, Intelligence Committee, and Armed Services Committee.
