The National Cyber Directorate is warning against SMS messages impersonating the Home Front Command under the name "Oref Alert," which contain a request to update to a new version of the app via an attached link. The alert was issued following a wave of user reports in the past hour. The Cyber Directorate added that the link directs to downloading a malicious installation file that could allow access to the device and personal information on it. The National Cyber Directorate is working to make the link unavailable.
