The Wall Street Journal reported today, citing Arab sources, that contacts are taking place between Hamas and Israel regarding a ceasefire that would include the release of more hostages and resumption of humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip. According to these sources, Israel will send a delegation to Cairo today as part of the deal discussions. An American official familiar with the details of direct talks between the US and Hamas told CNN yesterday that immediately after Idan Alexander's release, "we will immediately enter negotiations for a comprehensive agreement."
