Reservist Staff Sgt. Nadav Kali, 24, from Har Halutz, a fighter in Battalion 7007 of the 16th Brigade, and reservist Staff Sgt. Ofir Moalem, 23, from Jerusalem, also a fighter in Battalion 7007 of the 16th Brigade, were killed by an IDF drone explosion in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. The soldiers were operating two drones when one of them crashed inside the outpost where they were stationed in Beit Hanoun. They were wounded as a result of the explosion, and their deaths were later pronounced at the hospital. Their families have been notified. All avenues of investigation are being examined, including whether a communication malfunction led to the explosion.
