State Comptroller responds to Military Defense: Statement aims to disrupt October 7 review

Netael Bandel|
State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman responded to claims by the Military Defense, which accused him of dealing with core issues related to October 7 that the Defense claims are "reserved exclusively for a commission of inquiry." The Comptroller's Office stated: "The 'urgent' notification to the Supreme Court from the Military Defense, similar to the 'urgent' petition from two months ago, recycles the same claims with a single purpose: to disrupt the review processes of October 7. Contrary to the half-truths being spread - the State Comptroller emphasized from the moment he announced the 'Iron Swords' reviews that among dozens of audit reports, there will also be a review of the core failures that led to the most severe disaster in the history of the state."
