Netanyahu condemns Yinon Magal's statement: 'Inappropriate. A phenomenon directed at Likud voters'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Yinon Magal's statement against Yashar! Chairman Gadi Eisenkot, saying in an interview with Radio North that "this is a very inappropriate statement." Netanyahu added: "I condemn it and I would be happy if Eisenkot would condemn all the statements by Galia Albin and others about Likud members being chimpanzees and baboons - this is not appropriate and this is not appropriate. Yinon said something he shouldn't have said yesterday, but every day I hear the condescension, patronization and contempt toward Likud voters, calling them monkeys, baboons and chimpanzees. I wish this were a one-time phenomenon, it is daily and almost entirely directed at Likud voters."
