Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a threat toward the United States amid the ongoing conflict between the countries. The Iranian president, during whose tenure tens of thousands of Iranian anti-regime protesters were massacred at the beginning of the year, accused Washington in a post on X of targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. "If the Americans are warriors, let them face our brave military forces. Why wage war against civilian infrastructure, food supplies and sources of livelihood? If they are human, why prevent humans from accessing water, food and medicine? Our people cannot be subdued by bullying. Iran will not surrender," Pezeshkian wrote.
