A 25-year-old Mali native stabbed three women in the Paris Metro, causing light injuries. He was identified by security cameras and police later arrested him at his home in a northern suburb of the French capital. Sources told the newspaper "Le Parisien" that "the suspect appears to be mentally unstable" and that the possibility of a terror attack has been ruled out. Authorities told the French news agency AFP that the suspect is known to police for property offenses.
