Israel posts 470 new virus cases, 1% infection rate

Israel on Thursday posted 470 new coronavirus cases diagnosed a day earlier, with an infection rate standing at 1%.
The Health Ministry said that on Wednesday, 45,007 COVID tests had been conducted.
At least 482 patients are in serious condition, of whom 189 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 6,157.
